8 Reasons Why You Should Drink Cucumber Water

1. It’s good for your muscles: Cucumbers contain silica, a trace mineral necessary to keep connective tissue healthy. Add a few slices to your infuser water bottle.
2. It’s good for your skin: The silica and antioxidants help your skin stay clear and supple. I read that you can remove the soaked cucumbers from cold cucumber water and use them to reduce acne redness.
3. It’s low calorie: An entire cucumber averages about 45 calories so a few slices in your water is not adding very many additional calories
4. You may drink more water: We like things that taste good. Better tasting water just may prompt you to drink more of it. Cucumber water worked for me.
5. It’s detoxifying: Use it as an integral part of your juice cleanse.
6. It’s inexpensive: Cucumbers are the 4th most widely cultivated vegetable in the world. Organics cost a bit more, however, relative to other organic fruits and vegetables, they are less expensive.
7. Guests love it: Add some extra wow to your table by adding a pitcher of cucumber water. Most people don’t take the trouble to make it at home, so they appreciate it so much more when served fancy water elsewhere.
8. Making it is easy: It takes just a few minutes to fill a pitcher (or glass) of water and slice a few cucumbers into it.

Pineapples are loaded with vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium. It is also rich in fiber and calories. On top of it all, this fruit is low in fat and cholesterol. All the nutrients it contains promote good health.

2. Prevents Cough and Colds

Since pineapples are rich in vitamin C, it can fight off viruses that cause cough and colds. Even when you are already infected with such ailment, pineapples can help you. These fruits have bromelain, which is effective in suppressing coughs and loosening mucus. Eating pineapples while taking the right medications prescribed by the doctor for your sickness can help you recover more quickly.

3. Strengthens Bones

Pineapples are also popular for their ability to build and maintain strong bones. This is because these fruits contain manganese, which is a trace mineral that your body needs to build bones and connective tissues. In fact, if you consume a cup of pineapple, you can already get 73 percent of your total body requirement for manganese.

4. Keeps Gums Healthy

People are always very concerned with their teeth that they sometimes fail to give importance to the gums, which are equally essential since they hold the teeth in place. If a person has unhealthy gums, his/her teeth would be in bad condition, and eventually will fall out. Eating pineapple will strengthen your gums that will help keep your teeth healthy and strong.

5. Lowers Risk of Macular Degeneration

Pineapples are known to prevent different kinds of ailments. One example is macular degeneration. This disease, which is the primary cause of vision loss in adults, is caused by damage to the retina. Reading, recognizing faces, and doing daily activities can become a lot more difficult because of this problem. Including pineapple in your diet can lower risk of this disease by as much as 36 percent. This is because this fruit contains beta carotene that is good for our sense of sight.

6. Alleviates Arthritis

Since these fruits have anti-inflammatory qualities, eating pineapples can greatly alleviate the pain of arthritis while at the same time improve the condition by strengthening the bones. Apart from arthritis, it can also improve other similar conditions like carpall tuning system and gout.

Bromelain found in pineapples work to neutralize fluids to ensure that they are not too acidic. It also helps regulate the secretions in the pancreas to aid in digestion. Apart from that, since bromelain has protein-digesting properties, it can keep the digestive track healthy.

Learning Ways To Burn Calories.

5 Ways to Burn Calories.

If you have a desk job, create a habit to get up for at least 15 minutes every hour. Take a walk to the farthest restroom or water cooler, run an errand, take the stairs instead of the elevator or do your filing from a standing rather than seated position.

You can burn extra calories by simply adding some light activity to your TV viewing and relaxation time.  Fold laundry, dust furniture or sweep the floor while you watch television. Not only will the activity boost your caloric expendiutre, but you wileat less in front of the television if your hands are busy.

Burn more calories with the kids.
Teaching your children to increase their daily activity may save them from weight gain in the future. And it will help you, too! If you want to slim down without exercise, find ways to increase your walking time during the day.

Burn more calories with your daily chores.

The next time you go to a party, burn extra calories by becoming more social. Choose to stand or circle the room and talk to as many party goers as possible.

10 Reasons To Exercise In The Morning.

If I had to pick a single factor that I thought
was most important in a successful exercise or
weight loss program, it would be to exercise first
thing in the morning - every morning!

So why mornings?...

1. If you want to exercise
consistently, odds are in your favor if you exercise
first thing in the morning.

2. When you exercise early in the morning, it
"jump starts" your metabolism.

3. When you exercise in the morning you'll be
*energized* for the day.

4. Many people find that morning exercise
"regulates" their appetite for the day.

5. If you exercise at about the same time every
morning, and ideally wake-up at about the same
time on a regular basis, your body's endocrine
system and circadian rhythms adjust to that.

6. For many people, that appointed time every
morning becomes something they look forward to.

7. Research has demonstrated that exercise
increases mental acuity.

8. Exercise first thing in the morning is really
the only way to assure that something else won't
crowd exercise out of your schedule.

9. If finding time to exercise is difficult,
anyone can get up 30 to 60 minutes earlier to
exercise.

10. You'll feel GREAT! DO IT!
